Nathan Brant, CEO
Nathan, a Pennsylvania native, has worked with YMCA Camping his entire professional career. Beginning in Carlisle as the Director of YMCA Camp Thompson and more recently serving as Executive Director of Camping Services for the Akron Area YMCA in Ohio, he has witnessed the positive power of a camp or conference center to transform children, families, business teams and communities. Nathan, his wife Kristi, and their 3 daughters are thrilled to be part of the magic on the mountain.
Sue Williams, Associate Executive Director
Sue has been involved in camping and outdoor education for the past 15 years. Initially as a naturalist and educator, she has worked with children and staff instilling a sense of wonder and appreciation for working and playing outside. Sue has been a Camp Director in both 4-H and YMCA programs before joining the South Mountain YMCA team. She lives at camp with her 2 Labrador Retrievers, Cricket and Dixie.
Jennifer Badway, Comptroller
Jennifer, a native New Yorker, has lived in Pennsylvania for the past 19 years. She has worked with the South Mountain YMCA Camps as Business Office Manager for 5 years. She resides in Shillington with her three children Emily, Bryan and Ben - all of whom have been campers at Bynden Wood Day Camp and Camp Conrad Weiser.
Sue Kiscadden, Registrar & Service Coordinator
Sue has worked at South Mountain YMCA for 5 years. Before coming to the Mountain, Sue was a Special Education Aide at the local middle school. Sue is the friendly voice you hear when you call camp! Sue runs our Camp Store and can help you with any question you have about our programs. Sue and her husband Clint have 3 children. Sue loves to read and spend time caring for her 3 cats.
Michele Reinert, Director of Development
Michele is an honors graduate of Albright College and has over 15 years experience in fundraising, marketing and communications. Michele iMMM Michele is actively involved in the community as a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), an Officer on the Board of Directors for the Berks County Chapter of AFP, and a member of the Ambassador's Committee for the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She resides in Reading with her husband Brad, son Alec, and their three Labrador retrievers Nikko, Cyrus and Chase.
Dale Kuntzman, Director of Facilities and Maintenance
Dale comes to the mountain with over 12 years experience in property and grounds maintenance. Dale’s background includes overseeing budgets, capital improvements, energy conservation, safety, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment. Dale will be responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, safety and aesthetics for 90+ buildings and over 600 acres for programming at the South Mountain YMCA Camps.
Jeff Henry, Camp Conrad Weiser Director
Jeff, a native of Ireland, spent his first summer on the mountain in 2008 as a counselor working with campers in the shooting sports programs offered at camp. As CCW Director Jeff will supervise 10 weeks of resident summer camp and 80 summer camp staff. He will be responsible for the hiring and training of summer camp staff as well as program development, quality control and youth development.
