Nathan Brant, CEO

Nathan, a Pennsylvania native, has worked with YMCA Camping his entire professional career. Beginning in Carlisle as the Director of YMCA Camp Thompson and more recently serving as Executive Director of Camping Services for the Akron Area YMCA in Ohio, he has witnessed the positive power of a camp or conference center to transform children, families, business teams and communities. Nathan, his wife Kristi, and their 3 daughters are thrilled to be part of the magic on the mountain. 

Sue Williams, Summer Camps Director

Sue has been involved in camping and outdoor education for the past 15 years.  Initially as a naturalist and educator, she has worked with children and staff instilling a sense of wonder and appreciation for working and playing outside.  Sue has been a Camp Director in both 4-H and YMCA programs before joining the South Mountain YMCA team.  She lives at camp with her 2 Labrador Retrievers, Cricket and Dixie.  

Audrey Preston, Outdoor Center Director

Audrey was born and raised in Pensacola, FL but spent summers at Girl Scout camp and her grandparents' lake house. She majored in Environmental Education & Spanish at Warren Wilson College. Her journey to our mountain included positions with the NC Coastal Foundation, Merritt Island NWR, Girl Scouts of NW GA, FL Elks Youth Camp, Burton Environmental Education Center and Beckwith Camp & Conference Center. She lives at camp with her Great Danes and enjoys reading and paddling.  

Greg Rider, Associate Director

Greg, a native from upstate New York has been involved in 4-H and YMCA camping since he was young.  He is our resident expert in Adventure Education and divides his time between the Outdoor Education program and Summer Camps.  He is also our in-house tech support.  He runs Teen Leaders, Adventure Guides and Shooting Sports Venture Crew for South Mountain YMCA Camps.  Greg can be found hiking or climbing when not at camp.   

Jennifer Badway, Comptroller

Jennifer, a native New Yorker, has lived in Pennsylvania for the past 19 years. She has worked with the South Mountain YMCA Camps as Business Office Manager for 5 years. She resides in Shillington with her three children Emily, Bryan and Ben - all of whom have been campers at Bynden Wood Day Camp and Camp Conrad Weiser.  

 Pat Damato, Food Service Director

Pat has been involved with South Mountain YMCA for 11 years. Pat enjoys being a part of camp life and takes pride in providing quality food service for our guests and campers. He has a daughter and 3 grandchildren who like to spend time on the Mountain visiting the horses.   

 Sue Kiscadden, Registrar

Sue has worked at South Mountain YMCA for 5 years. Before coming to the Mountain, Sue was a Special Education Aide at the local middle school. Sue is the friendly voice you hear when you call camp! Sue runs our Camp Store and can help you with any question you have about our programs. Sue and her husband Clint have 3 children. Sue loves to read and spend time caring for her 3 cats.     

Todd Miller, Director of Facilities and Maintenance

Todd has been with South Mountain YMCA for 7 1/2 years. Todd has a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Penn State University. He has an extensive background in construction and he oversees the maintenance of over 90 buildings and 600 acres of land. Todd enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with his son.
