Welcome to Bynden Wood Day Camp!

Becoming a part of this staff is an amazing opportunity.  You will be able to "change lives, one camper at a time" this summer.  Working at camp is probably one of the most demanding jobs you will ever have but is also one of the most rewarding and memorable.   PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL STAFF MUST LIVE ONSITE FOR THE SUMMER.

Summer Camp Calendar

Counselor Training Institute- Tuesday, May 28- Friday, June 1  (optional)

We offer the following courses during this time period:

SOLO Wilderness First Aid, Certified Horsemanship Association Instructor, American Red Cross Lifeguard, National Association for the Development of Archery Basic Instructor Course, National Rifle Association Instructor Course

Staff Orientation (Mandatory)  Saturday, June 2- Saturday, June 9

Camp begins on Sunday, June 10 and our season ends on Saturday, August 11

Staff Positions: 

Bynden Wood Counselors must be at least 18 years of age. $250-$275/week

The Bynden Wood Staff team consists of 10 strong leaders who have the enthusiasm, creativity and initiative to facilitate an engaging program for children ages 5-14!  Our Day Camp staff spends the daytime leading activities, singing songs, swimming, and hiking throughout our 600 acres with a group of fun and excited campers!  We are seeking staff who realize that "Campers Come First" and are willing to give 100%!  In the evenings, our Day Camp staff join our Resident Camp Staff team and will assist with evening programs and live in and supervise a cabin of 8-12 campers.
