Outdoor Education Programs
Cultural/Historical
Living History (1-1.5 hours)
Through various hands-on activities (i.e., apple-pressing, Dutch-oven cooking, butter churning, nature dies, etc.), participants learn about past cultures and how their ways apply to our own lives today. Students participate in pioneer games and learn a different way of life. [PA History 8.2, 8.3; Food Science & Nutrition 11.3]

Native American Studies (1-1.5 hours)
Students will learn about the Native Americans of the area – the Lenape. Through stories, crafts, trades, games, and role playing the students will increase their awareness of the Native American culture. [Geography 7.3, 7.4; PA History 8.2, 8.3]
