FAQs:

When does the weekend begin/end?

Check-in is 5-6:30pm on Friday night and 7:30-8:30am on Saturday morning. Saturday evening programs end by 9pm. All programs conclude by noon on Sunday.

Who can attend?

Any woman age 18 and "better"!

Should I sign up for the Full Weekend or Saturday-Only?

Women's Wellness Weekend is designed as an overnight retreat. We recommend that you give yourself the full weekend to relax, renew, and refresh in the company of like-minded ladies. The overnight experience allows participants to truly disconnect from phones, the internet, and television and connect with real people in a real way. However, we have created the Saturday-Only registration option to include those ladies who simply can not commit to a whole weekend of rejuvination for whatever reasons.

Is there financial aid?

Yes! As a YMCA, we strive to make sure our programs are reasonably priced and available to all. All participants are asked to contribute what they are able. Please contact Audrey Preston, Outdoor Center Director, for more information on financial assistance: 610-670-2267 or apreston@smymca.org.

Where do we sleep if staying overnight?

In our beautiful, new log cabins. Cabins sleep up to 8 women, have electricity, and are heated. Participants bring their own bedding for a single bed. The clean, modern showerhouse is only a hop, skip, & a jump away. Facilities are consistently rated excellent for guests.

Who will be my cabin mates?

Other awesome women! If you are attending with others, list them as cabin mate requests when registering and you'll be placed together. During registration, you'll also be asked a few questions to help us assign early birds (up with the sun) and night owls (bed time later than 11pm) to appropriate cabins.

Can I bring my cell phone/laptop/tablet?

The quick answer is: you can but you shouldn't!

The long answer: Cell service on the mountain is spotty and you may not have any service depending on your cell phone provider and location on camp. Only the administration office has a wireless connection and no sessions or activities are held there. So...why not leave all the electronics at home and enjoy an "unplugged" weekend with friends?

When is the registration deadline?

Registrations will be accepted until the retreat fills on a first come, first serve basis.
