Equestrian Program Staff

All of our riding staff are Certified Horsemanship Association Instructors. From May 28-June 1, 2012 we are hosting a CHA Standard Instructor Clinic on our mountain. To register for this event, please contact Sue Williams, our Summer Camps Director.

Call for Volunteers

Like all YMCAs, the critical work we do with children, families, businesses, schools, and other community groups would not be possible without the work of dedicated volunteers.  Our Equestrian Center is a very busy place. If you love horses and enjoy working with people, we could use your help!

We value our volunteers and are seeking people to assist with the following:

Pony Rides on our Family Fun Days this spring

Trail Rides- walking alongside our horses with our novice riders

Tacking and untacking horses for lessons and trail rides

Trail Maintenance

Assistance at our horse shows
